Vision is necessary to operate the Law of Success. Vision and the Law of Success are linked. To move toward something, we need propulsion. When we have a dream we have something that we look toward. Dreams are very important first steps in operating the Law of Success. Dreams are often cut off at the knees because we are afraid to have the dream because we don’t always believe they can come true. So we need to nurture and care take our dreams because they are the embryos of our future success.
When our Dream becomes a pulsating Desire, we put more fuel on our train moving toward success. Hicks talks about rockets of desire shooting out of us. We want something very badly. Hill named Burning Desire as his first step toward utilizing the Law of Success. Sometimes that Burning Desire can completely overcome any doubt we have about obtaining our Desire like Debra Fields did with Mrs. Field’s cookies. When we place our wholehearted self behind an endeavor, we can move mountains. I’m reminded of the story of a leader who wanted to give his army a burning desire to win, so he burned all the ships in which they arrived, and to guarantee their success said – “to get home, you are going to have to win the battle.”
When things are dire in our lives, we have to pull everything we have together and rally every resource we have to get through those times to success. When our financial lives are on the line, we have to give it our all. And that is the gift. Those times call from us our absolute best and beyond. Because to fail is not an option in our path to success. We may rail at God or the Universe, and we may fret and fume at times. Unless we want to give up, there is no other option except to go forward and to find some solution that we haven’t found before that will happen as we utilize the law of success. We are forced to go beyond our comfort zones. We are forced to look at our beliefs to see what is holding us back. Sometimes we are pushed to the absolute limit, and realize that we cannot do it alone and we need help. That may be when we surrender our course to the Divine, and prayer becomes our engine. From there we lift out of survival and begin to contemplate purpose and vision. We certainly have go power toward success while we are fighting for survival. Sometimes the energy of stress and anxiety can fuel go power for movement toward success.
But when you want to move onto thriving, you need another kind of go power to drive us toward success. You may have been moving up the emotional scale from misery, to stress and anxiety, and finally move into changing your approach to the world by the use of positivity and optimism. You’ve moved out of survival, worry, revenge, into the higher vibrations of boredom, contentment, hope, and optimism and even positive expectancy. Those are wonderful feeling states, and certainly you have moved into higher vibrations which are critical to applying the law of success. But where is the go power in this range? To be happy is a powerful use of the law of success and the law of attraction, but if you are looking for a specific result – particularly a monetary result, then vision is critical. It is your propulsion power in these upper regions of the vibratory scale.
Along the way up the scale, you have learned to trust the Universe, learned to trust your intuition, and learned to pay attention to signs and synchronicities. This happens as you flow with the law of success. You have learned to believe in possibilities and turn them into positive expectancy. Now your vision can become your rudder and the winds of the Universe fill your sail. You can go anywhere. You can accomplish anything for you have the law of success at your back.
Your vision creates compelling movement forward. It may be to have a sense of fulfillment, to give back to the world, to make a contribution in some way. Now your vision upgrades itself to including you, others, and the world in a vast interconnected way. Masterminding is one of the keys in law of success. It invites you to sit at the table with the greats.
A book just jumped off the bookshelf and said read me. When I opened it I saw this quote from Buckminster Fuller “The purpose of our lives is to add value to the people of this generation and those that follow.”
T. Harv Eker said “But hear this: Your life is not just about you. It’s also about contributing to others. It’s about living true to your mission and reason for being here on this earth at this time. It’s about adding your piece of the puzzle to the world. Most people are so stuck in their egos that everything revolves around me, me, and more me. But if you want to be rich in the truest sense of the word, it can’t only be about you. It has to include adding value to other people’s lives.”
Vision expands your perspective, your world view. It grows to include your mission. This vision knows you have a mission. Every one on the planet has their own mission. Eker went on to say. “We each came to this earth with natural talents, things we’re just naturally good at. These gifts were given to you for a reason: to use and share with others. Research shows the happiest people are those who use their natural talents to the utmost. Part of your mission in life then must be to share your gifts and value with as many people as possible. That means being willing to play big” (from Secrets of the Millionaire Mind).
Your vision, mission, purpose, or calling, is your soul speaking to you and saying “Let us be the best we can be. Let us call forth our greatness and make the most of this life.” Your vision is a continuing call to action. The Law of Success responds to that mission and that purpose saying “There is a need for your specific gifts and talents on this earth. Call them forth. Life needs you.”
In this last link go read what George Bernard Shaw said about Life. It is a delicious cry to Life and Vision and Purpose.
