The secret Law of Success is to focus on what is coming and what will be here soon. Won’t it be wonderful when it arrives? The Law of Attraction and the Law of Success say that like attracts like. Bad feelings, worry, and depression attracts more bad feelings; subtracts ideas and opportunities, attracts contention, and attracts less fortune. Contraction occurs.

The Secret that was edited out of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill was mentioned more than 9 times in the author’s preface. Andrew Carnegie asked Napoleon Hill if he would be willing to spend the next 20 years himself so to teach the secret to as many as would hear. And so began the distribution to thousands of the secret magic formula (now talked about as The Law of Attraction) to wealth, health and happiness.

The Secret that was edited out of Think and Grow Rich is not explicitly told. Why? According to Napoleon Hill “the Secret has been mentioned no fewer than a hundred times throughout this book. It has not been directly named, for it seems to work more successfully when it is merely uncovered and left in sight, where THOSE WHO ARE READY, and SEARCHING FOR IT, may pick it up. That is why Mr. Carnegie tossed it to me so quietly, without giving me its specific name.”

The Secret that was edited out of Think and Grow Rich is powerful. The original publishers must have been worried that the mass market would not buy a book that talked about things like vibration and the power of thought. They edited out more than 100 pages of the original manuscript. The Secret is very difficult to discern if your copy of Think and Grow Rich is around 270 pages; you have the edited version. My version has 387 pages. It was published in 1962 by Combined Registry Co in Chicago.

The Secret was also heavily edited out of the movie “The Secret.” Publishers were afraid that the secret would not be accepted by the public. Law of Attraction Success Secret: Law of Success is tied into Law of Attraction. What you think about Manifests.

Law of Attraction states that what you focus on manifests. The Law of Success is highly interactive with the Law of Attraction. The Success Secret is to know that one affects the other. A wonderful friend of mine is on a fabulous adventure. Demonstrating the Success Secret of the Law of Success and the Law of Attraction, she is traveling around the country visiting friends and family. She has been saying for a number of years that when she retires she wants to write and paint out of a Casita (small camper). Little did she know what she was drawing into place with the Law of Attraction and the Law of Success.

As she has talked with her friends, the image of camping at various places around the country has been vivid. She called me this week laughing. “I think I need to change my images she said. The secret key to the Law of Success #9 is to Think Accurately. All your creations, plans, achievements are begun as thoughts. Your mind is like a garden. To Think Accurately is a skill that is developed over time. Choosing your thoughts, and discerning where your thought come from is very important. Often our thoughts are generated from the beliefs and experiences of our upbringing or those people with whom we hang out. Your thoughts are very powerful. Your thoughts are vibration. What you think about activates the universe. To really understand this from a positive perspective, let’s talk again about the 17 second process.

“You are only 17 seconds Away from 68 Seconds to Fulfillment.”

“With only a few seconds of focusing your attention on a subject, you activate the vibration of that subject within you, and immediately the Law of Attraction begins to respond to that activation. The longer you keep your attention focused on something, the easier it becomes for you to continue to focus upon it because you are attracting, through the Law of Attraction, other thoughts or vibrations that are the essence of the thought you began with.

When you visualize something happening that you really want to happen in specific detail as though it is happening at this very moment, it is powerful. When you pray and imagine that your prayer is answered immediately, and you “see” scenes taking place after your prayer is answered, in detail with as many senses as you can, you feel great, you feel gratitude, and you are sending your appreciation to God for your answered prayer.

When I had my home in Minnesota on the market last year, for six months I had no sale. Then my daughter and I decided to do “17 seconds” every day. We would focus on how good it would feel when we received the phone call from our agent. We imagined going to closing and signing all the documents. We imagined seeing the big red SOLD sign being hung on our For Sale sign. We imagined pulling out of our driveway with our Casita travel trailer for the last time, and the sense of freedom we would feel.

There was a lot going on at the time. A lot of worry and fear clouded our emotions. But we carried on doing our “17 seconds” which usually lasted about a minute and a half. We would be exhilarated when we were finished each time. Our fear ebbed the more we did 17 seconds, because we were making the scenario real to our bodies.

Then I got that call. It came three weeks later. It didn’t happen exactly as we imagined. It was better than we imagined. The sale of the home was consummated about seven weeks later. Some very difficult circumstances were navigated very easily and mostly effortlessly. That’s another by-product of 17 seconds.

This weekend I wanted to buy a new mattress. Before I went shopping, My daughter and I did ‘17 seconds’ on finding exactly what we wanted and were specific about how much we wanted to pay. We found that mattress on our first stop for $900 below retail price, and the salesperson told us it was below cost. I know it was because we did our preparation of ‘17 seconds.’

Remember ’17 seconds’ is what it takes to begin aligning your mind. For each increment of 17 seconds that you add of focused thought, visualization, prayer, the power gets amped up. I never time my 17 seconds, because I keep adding to the visualization until I feel it “take.” In my home, we try to do our ’17 seconds’ process together. It helps to do it with someone else. You feel the emotional support of doing it together. And it is wonderful to share the exhilaration of something well imagined together when we have finished. We often give each other a high five.

What you think about is very powerful. Enjoy unleashing the eager Universe by doing ‘17 seconds’ on something you want. It gets so that you don’t even have to do 17 seconds. I wanted a very large mirror to put out on my north facing patio. Within four days, my sister walked in carrying a huge door sized mirror that she ‘found’ at the dumpster when taking out my trash. So even 17 seconds can manifest. It works.

Tap your wisdom and enhance your success, wealth, and well being. Successful people are very intuitive. They tap into inner wisdom. They are using the law of attraction.

In 1993, I wrote the following “letter” in a process I use to tap into my own wisdom. In a meditative state ,I write a problem (on the left of the page). On the right side of the page I write the words that come to me as I tap my wisdom. Fifteen years later, this wisdom is as timeless as it was when it was first written. It gives me chills to read. It is as if I heard this yesterday. This entry was written before I ever heard the term ‘law of attraction’.

To tap your wisdom, you need to listen to the still small voice inside. When you tap your own wisdom, you will also be aligning with the law of attraction. You will attract more well being, more joy, more success and more wealth.

In the future we will look more closely at the process of tapping your inner wisdom. When this was written in 1993, I was in the process of a divorce trying to navigate with some heart and integrity. When so heartsore and lonely, it was soothing and calming to read the words that came. The overwhelming feeling of being loved profoundly accompanied the words.

Dear Soul:

I just need to touch into you again and remember
you are there. Please let me know what I need to
know to do, what I need to do today.

Thank you for your support, guidance and intuitive

The Secret Key to the Law of Success is that your State of Mind is the most important thing in life. Everything is keyed into your state of mind. Your state of mind is absolutely THE KEY to making your life work. The secret key to the Law of Success is your state of mind. Most of us have an idea this is true, but many people simply do not understand that your state of mind is a choice that you can make, no matter what situation you are in. Choice is a critical function to using the secret key to the Law of Success.

Your state of mind can be positive. Your state of mind can be negative. Your state of mind can be affected very much by circumstances happening in your world, yes. However YOU CAN CHOOSE a state of mind that is positive, no matter what circumstances are occurring. Emotions are powerful, and can help you shift states of mind. The Secret Key to Law of Success # 7 is the directive to Build a Positive Mental Attitude. Napoleon Hill said “A positive mental attitude is the single most important principle of the science of success. You will depend upon it in everything you do. You cannot get the maximum benefit out of the other sixteen principles without understanding and employing PMA (positive mental attitude).”

If building a positive mental attitude is the single most important, the secret key to Law of Success, what do you think is necessary to build a positive mental attitude? Look for signs of Law of Attraction; signs that the Universe is tuned in to you. Sometimes the signs come through intuition. When I first started reading Ask and It is Given, which outlines the laws of attraction, even though one part of me knew it to be true, the critic in me did not. When the internal critic takes charge, consciousness contracts to just its point of view.

One way to stretch your vision is to look for signs that the universe is supporting you. I do that by saying something like a prayer. “Universe, I want to feel and see your support. Please send me signs today that will help me trust more. Please help me recognize the signs when they appear.” Another way of saying this is that I “set an intention.” Law of attraction will respond to you. Your intuition will lift its antennae.

My daughter and I are on a road trip at the moment. We had two cars and decided we wanted to travel in one car from Texas to Washington State. We stopped at my brother’s home in Oklahoma. We half heartedly put one car for sale. I just didn’t feel momentum to sell the black Toyota. I watched the efforts and how I felt inside, and mentioned them to my daughter. She felt the same. We were not trying to sell the Cutlass we were in because it had a lien against it and felt it might be harder to sell. My brother and sister in law told us they really thought we should try selling the Oldsmobile, because they didn’t have good feelings about us selling the Toyota. We all were listening to our intuition.

Two days later polished and clean, I parked the Oldsmobile at a major intersection in this very small town. I raised the price after the first test drive, so I could have room to dicker. In the next six hours I had two offers, and had five groups take the car for test drives. As I was getting in the car to go home, two cars drove up at the same time. Both wanted the vehicle. I received a full price offer on the spot, and met the buyer the next morning at her bank to finish the sale. I looked for the signs and they were clear. Law of Attraction brought the buyers within seven hours of my putting signs on the car. Intuition gave us guidance which we followed. Law of Attraction: A story

Law of Attraction means you act like a magnet and draw unto you what you focus your energy upon. When you focus on the deficit of money, you get more of the same. You have less money. When you focus on the thought that soon there is going to be plenty of money, then you will have the means provided by the Law of Attraction.

Law of Attraction works very fast. Recently a very close friend ran out of cash. She had a history of working temporary positions because it gave her lots of freedom. When I found out that she had very little cash resources, I asked her, aren’t you worried about money? She is a student of the Law of Attraction, so I was most curious to see how she was handling this.

She said no. Her body registers the physical reality of when she is dangerously out of money, and when it is a temporary condition. Her body was telling her that while circumstances were that she had little cash, it was also telling her that there was no real need to worry. She has a great belief in the Universe and the Law of Attraction.

She took some action steps however, of signing up with her favorite temporary agency. They were overjoyed to have her be ready to work again. A few days later, after a long weekend out of state, and a brief visit from a brother, she was ready to work. Knowing how the Law of Attraction works, she did 17 seconds on getting a temporary assignment.

She had complete faith in the Law of Attraction. Yesterday she received two telephone calls. One was from a prospective client who wanted to employ her as a contract employee part-time. The other was from a one of her favorite temp offices. They wanted her back in her home town and wanted to pay her $38.00 an hour, which was a third more than she had ever been paid through that office. Laughing as she told me the story, she said “I take this as a sign. The Universe has heard my request, and its working hard to deliver a job so I can take care of this cash situation. The Law of Attraction works!”

Today, she called again. “How’s this for the Law of Attraction? I have a job! Just exactly the kind of job I want. My brother is leaving today at 4:00 pm. I start work tomorrow at 8:00 am. I told you I didn’t have to worry!“ Joy was in her voice. She had fervently done her part to attract a means for some temporary income, and the Law of Attraction gave her exactly what she asked for.
