Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a simple tapping process that can help clear your mind and body of blocks. Based partially upon acupressure, EFT says that beliefs and physical traumas can muck up the energy connections in the body. Simply tapping upon certain points in the body following a certain order clears the channel and brings it back into balance. What is wonderful about EFT is that negative emotions and trauma is released without reliving the events that caused them. EFT can be used for pain, headaches, PTSD, losing weight, and clearing negative beliefs. Best of all, you can do EFT yourself.
There are Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) resources that could be really helpful. I invite you to visit here to read more about the process which was invented by Gary Craig. There are some quite powerful videos on the site which will give you ideas about how it can be used.
I especially love the one called Blood and Fatigue where they show you a video of the blood cells before and after a few minutes of tapping. To see the blood more vitalized so it can absorb oxygen better was powerful.
A free manual download is given by Gary Craig. He is committed to helping the world. You could learn to do this by reading this manual.
A description of how to do the process begins on page 20. The summary of the entire recipe is listed on page 32, called EFT on a page.
For another diagram of the points click here. Most likely you’ll have to sign up for their newsletter in order to view the points. Here’s a site that will take you through a video of all the tapping sites – about 18 minutes . Click on any of the colored words on this site, and it will take you to a new site.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has been enormously powerful dealing with post traumatic stress disorder for vets, people touched by the Oklahoma Bombing, and the technique is very powerful. I have used it to clear negative beliefs about money, used it to help forgive someone I just couldn’t do on my own. It healed trauma I had for driving in snow. When I am stuck and can’t feel better, I try to find a word of phrase that I am upset about, and then do a tapping routine following the recipe. You can do a whole round of EFT in less than 4 minutes. I always feel better.
Pay attention to yourself as you do EFT. I rarely do more than 6 or 7 rounds on something at a setting. When you are working on something deep, thoughts or insights may emerge, which may take you to another round. When I yawn, I know my body is releasing. Honor that your body may only be able to handle 3-7 rounds. Let it rest then. It helps to have a practitioner work with you. Find an EFT practitioner here.
